Mad Dog Graphx Wins in Three International Design Award Competitions
2015 Hermes Creative Awards, the 2015 Summit Creative Awards, and the 21st Annual Communicator Awards
Anchorage, AK – Mad Dog Graphx won 19 honors in three recent international design competitions, including the 2015 Hermes Creative Awards, the 2015 Summit Creative Awards, and the 21st Annual Communicator Awards.
Mad Dog won eight honors from the Hermes Creative Awards, including Platinum for a logo design for Clearwater Air, an aerial research service based in Anchorage. Mad Dog won Gold for a logo for Identity, Inc.’s 1+1 Alaska program, which aims to increase diversity and inclusivity in the workplace. They also won Gold for the design of their own new website, and for last year’s annual report for Anchorage Project Access (APA). Mad Dog also received Honorable Mentions for an annual report for Food Bank of Alaska (FBA), a holiday poster for Benchmark Construction, the design for Huna Totem Corporation’s new website, and a logo for Vitus Energy.
Mad Dog won four honors from the Summit Creative Awards. Mad Dog won Gold for their Vitus Energy logo, Silver for the latest Benchmark Construction holiday poster, and Bronze for Span Alaska Transportation’s ”Animals” print campaign and FBA’s 2013 annual report.
Mad Dog won seven honors from the Communicator Awards, including Gold for their Vitus Energy logo. They also won Silver for their own new website, the Huna Totem Corporation website, the Benchmark Construction holiday poster, the Clearwater Air logo, and annual reports for FBA and APA.
The Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing, and design of traditional materials and programs, and emerging technologies. It is one of the largest design competitions of its kind, with more than 6,000 entries this year. The awards recognize outstanding work in the marketing, communication, advertising, and public relations industries.
The Summit Creative Awards (SCA) recognize and celebrate the creative achievements of small and medium sized advertising agencies worldwide with annual billings under $30 million. Now in its 20th year, the SCA has firmly established itself as the premier arbiter of creative excellence for firms of this size and has become a coveted honor. This year’s winners were selected from more than 5,000 submissions from 24 countries.
The Communicator Awards is the leading international creative awards program honoring excellence in advertising, corporate communications, public relations, and identity work for communications professionals.
