Anchorage, AK – Last year the rebranding of Food Bank of Alaska began with an updated logo, color palette, and positioning statement, “Fill plates, nourish communities.” This effort has continued to roll-out – literally – with a fleet of new trucks in 2016. With a vibrant new color palette and bold messaging, the FBA trucks are the perfect billboard to continue showcasing their fresh look. You’re sure to catch a glimpse of these trucks – with their chartreuse roll-up back doors – all over town and in the Valley, as they pick up and deliver food in FBA’s continuing mission to feed hungry Alaskans.
Watch for FBA’s two new food trucks delivering food in Anchorage and the Valley.
FBA’s annual has been so well received over the last few years, with its economically streamlined format (an oversized single sheet, folded to a self-mailing packet), that we have continued with this design. The focus on using more captivating photos of people gives the piece a warm, personal feel. Shorter stories highlight the needs and accomplishments of the organization, while hunger statistics in bold color blocks visually allow the reader to easily pick out the pertinent facts and figures at a glance. This is our second year incorporating the newly revamped FBA color palette.
FBA has been successfully using the new format for their annual report for three years, saving money while making the content easier to digest.
