DESCRIPTION

SOUTH Restaurant + Coffeehouse is an award-winning eatery in Anchorage, Alaska created by the team behind Snow City Cafe, Spenard Roadhouse, and Sacks Cafe. Mad Dog worked with web developer Kris Swanson to integrate contemporary functionality with SOUTH’s distinct rustic-modern style. SOUTH wanted a website that would enable guests to easily make a reservation, view the venue’s many in-house events and purchase tickets, and access website standbys such as reviewing menus and contacting the restaurant.

The design utilizes SOUTH’s existing brand graphic details, mixing utilitarian materials with classic, upscale typographic elements that pay homage to their industrial location and embody an atmosphere of “casual highbrow” dining.
