DESCRIPTION

The Carlton Smith Company is a prominent commercial real estate firm based in Juneau, Alaska. In 2015, they celebrated 25 years in business. Mad Dog Graphx was brought on board to rebrand Carlton Smith Commercial. As a cornerstone of the Juneau community, Carlton Smith wanted their fresh new logo to embody their enthusiasm for Southeast Alaska and the people they have served there for more than two decades.

Juneau, the state capital, is nestled between the base of Mount Juneau and the Gastineau Channel. While the city doesn’t have a typical “skyline,” it does have a very distinctive main street that is sandwiched between these two spectacular and iconic natural elements. By combining these two components with the built space of downtown Juneau, Mad Dog arrived at a dynamic and forward-thinking visual mark. The sans serif type treatment and bold color palette gives the logo a clean, modern appeal.
