PROJECT
Building on Success (2012)
DESCRIPTION
After seven years of serving low income uninsured Anchorage residents and matching them with a diverse and dedicated network of health care professionals offering volunteer medical services to those in need, APA realized it was time to shake things up. In the midst of a national recession, they moved into a larger, more centrally-located office space to better serve their clientele. Their board experienced a major turnover of members, and a new board president was elected. APA began auditing their own procedures to find areas where they could improve. The annual took advantage of APA’s renovations by framing them in construction terms, using a visual metaphor straight from the toolbox.
