Seattle City Light 2018 Progress Report + Integrated Resource Plan
DESCRIPTION
Founded in 1910, Seattle City Light serves as the electrical power authority and supply center for about 400,000 customers.
The Strategic Plan reviews the entirety of City Light’s business responsibilities to ensure that they are responsive to the needs of their customers now and into the future. It specifically looks at the utility’s trajectory for the next six years and sets the foundation for their goals and priorities.
The Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) measures how well existing investments in power supply and new cost-effective energy efficiency investments set up City Light to meet their customers’ long-term power supply needs. The IRP looks at trends and a range of possible future outcomes to recommend a power supply path that is secure, but responds well to changing conditions.
The IRP Progress Report explores changing conditions and presents actions that City Light is taking to project and plan for the future power supply needs of their customers.
